Outcome of the public consultation on the draft scientific guidance on soil photo‐transformation products in groundwater – consideration, parameterisation and simulation in the exposure assessment of plant protections products

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) carried out a public consultation to receive input from all interested parties on the draft guidance on consideration, parameterisation and simulation of soil photo‐transformation products in groundwater within the exposure assessment of plant protections products. The draft guidance was prepared by the German Environment Agency. The written public consultation was open from 20 May 2020 until 03 July 2020. During this period, EFSA received comments from 10 different interested parties belonging to different sectors (e.g. national authorities, private sector, university/public research institutes and individual scientists) This report contains the comments received and details how they have been considered for the finalisation of the guidance. The final guidance was approved by EFSA on 06 January 2022 and will be published in the EFSA Journal.
